ANDDAV OS 1.0 โ third-party software and firmware
ANDDAV OS is an independent Debian 13-based distribution. Debian and upstream projects do not endorse this release. Each included component keeps its own copyright, licence and applicable conditions.
The installed and live systems retain package notices under /usr/share/doc/<package>/copyright and common licence texts under /usr/share/common-licenses. A matching PACKAGE-NOTICES.tar.gz is supplied with the release records, including notices for firmware and microcode.
Source downloads
The matching source archive and ANDDAV configuration/build archive must be offered with the ISO download. The source inventory records exact Debian source versions and additional Built-Using/Static-Built-Using references. ISO boot components are included. The inventory also identifies files retrieved from Debian's historical snapshot archive.
Some firmware is proprietary binary data. Its package source archive contains the original supplied firmware and Debian packaging; it does not provide proprietary source code that its authors have not released. Preserve its licence notices and restrictions. No firmware modification or upstream endorsement is claimed.
Optional applications
Microsoft VS Code is not included in the ISO. Recommended Software downloads it directly from Microsoft's repository only when the user chooses it. Microsoft's product licence and privacy/telemetry information apply:
Optional FileZilla, Audacity and OBS Studio installations download from Flathub. These applications and their runtimes have separate licences. The Flathub FileZilla and Audacity packages are community-maintained.
ANDDAV assets
The creator confirmed authorship of the ANDDAV logo and artwork. These assets remain the creator's property. Bundling them does not imply permission to reuse the branding for another product. Upstream artwork and code retain their original notices and licences.
