About

My name is Andrew Davies.

For as long as I remember, I have had a passion for working with computers and electronic devices. As I got older, my interest grew further still and I started learning different programming languages, HTML, Java, C#... to name just a few. I have also continued to learn more about hardware and the components that make up a computer. I studied Computer Science, where I gained a first-class bachelor's degree, at City, University of London. Currently, I am employed as the IT Manager, working for Farsound Aviation Ltd.

2015 - Present

IT Manager

Manager of the IT department at Farsound. Looking after all IT needs of the company, at its various sites globally.

  • Support, maintain and develop the MS Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premises (ERP) system used within Farsound
  • Website development for client-facing websites/portals, as well as Farsound's intranet sites
  • End user IT support, for all Farsound employees worldwide

Employed by Joskos to provide ICT Support to schools throughout the UK, mostly based within and around London.

This website was created to replace the previous company website and is part of the company's public rebranding from "Farsound Aviation" to just "Farsound".
